Before designing any visuals, the first step is to plan out the content that will be said or appear in the video. This animation had to be done in English and French, so additional planning needed to be done to ensure the timing would work for both languages.

Storyboard
When creating a storyboard, the most important thing is figuring out the flow of the animation from start to finish. At this stage, the details are minimal, but the sketches still show every scene that we want to include. This allows our client to visualize the general idea of the video.

Asset Design
After the storyboard, the next step is to design the elements that will appear in the video. This includes the backgrounds, characters, and props. The designs are all sketched to ensure the style works.

The visual assets are placed into scenes for our clients to view. Style frames are necessary to show how the video will look when completed. At this point, any changes to the assets are made.
